High Temperature Resistant Centrifugal Pump Installer
What is the reason why the lining centrifugal self-priming pump can not absorb the liquid?

2021/09/25

Many customers in the use of fluoroplastic lined centrifugal self-priming pump work, found that the self-priming pump can not absorb water, do not know what is the cause, and will not repair. With the principle of fluoroplastic lined centrifugal self-priming pump, talk about what to do in this situation.

1. Air leakage.

The interior of the self-priming pump is closed, and when the self-priming pump is running, it will form a suction to the water, and the water will be pumped up through the propeller and anti-backflow parts in the pump. If there is air leakage in the pump, then the suction is not enough, water and other liquids can not be sucked up.

In this case, you can first check whether the self-priming pump is charged in the process of operation. If it is not electrified, smear the surface of the self-priming pump with soapy water and find the air leakage, which is mostly caused by the damage of the sealing ring, and the replacement can return to normal.

Second, replace the fan.

The reason why the self-priming pump can absorb water is that there is a sealed compartment in which there is not only an anti-backflow structure, but also a water-absorbing blade. Under normal circumstances, when the fan blade rotates, it will produce suction and suck the water out, but if the screw of the fixed fan blade is loose, fall off, and the fan blade is damaged, it will lead to insufficient power of the self-priming pump and will not be able to suck up the water.

In this case, the self-priming pump can only be taken apart to view, re-fixed or replace the blade, the self-priming pump will return to normal.

III. Other reasons.

It is important to know that the water pipe of the self-priming pump or the self-priming pump itself can only work properly if it is not in the water, but some users do not connect the pipe to the self-priming pump and do not put the pipe in the water because of carelessness. If it is the kind of self-priming pump that is waterproof, the self-priming pump may not be put in the water.

If this is the case, not to mention that you started the self-priming pump, I am afraid you have broken the self-priming pump to pieces, and you can not find the cause of the failure. Therefore, when using the self-priming pump, it is found that the water cannot be sucked up, so don't rush to find someone to repair it. First check whether the water inlet is completely submerged in the water. If you don't put it in the water, you can put the pipe in the water to return to normal.
