The corrosion-resistant centrifugal pump made by TEFLOW can be roughly divided into two kinds: metal pump and plastic pump. Today, we mainly introduce the material of plastic-lined centrifugal pump: the difference of PTFE,PFA,FEP,ETFE.

(1)Teflon PTFE:PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) non-stick coating can be used continuously at 260C, with the highest temperature of 290C-300C, extremely low friction coefficient, good wear resistance and excellent chemical stability.

(2)Teflon FEP:FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene copolymer) non-adhesive coating melts and flows to form a non-porous film during baking, which has excellent chemical stability and excellent non-adhesion properties, and the highest service temperature is 200C.
(3)Teflon PFA:PFA (perfluoroalkyl) non-stick coating, like FEP, melts and flows to form a non-porous film during baking. PFA has the advantages of higher continuous use temperature 260C, stronger stiffness and toughness, especially suitable for use in the field of anti-sticking and chemical resistance under high temperature conditions.
(4)Teflon ETFE:ETFE is a copolymer of ethylene and tetrafluoroethylene. The resin is the toughest fluoropolymer that forms a highly durable coating with excellent chemical resistance and can work continuously at 150C.

Common advantages:

1. Non-stickiness: almost all substances are not bonded to Teflon film. The very thin film also shows good non-adhesion properties.
2. Heat resistance: Teflon film has excellent heat resistance and low temperature resistance. It can withstand high temperature to 300 ℃ for a short time and can be used continuously between 240 ℃ and 260 ℃. It has remarkable thermal stability. It can work at freezing temperature without embrittlement and does not melt at high temperature.
3. Slippage: Teflon film has low friction coefficient. The friction coefficient changes when the load slides, but the value is only between 0.05 and 0.15.

4, moisture resistance: Teflon film surface is not stained with water and oil, and it is not easy to touch the solution during production operation. If there is a small amount of dirt, it can be removed by simple wiping. Short downtime, save man-hours and improve work efficiency.
5. Wear resistance: excellent wear resistance under high load. Under a certain load, it has the double advantages of wear resistance and non-adhesion.
6. Corrosion resistance: Teflon is almost free from drug erosion and can protect parts from any kind of chemical corrosion.
